Game-Changing Chiropractic Marketing Tactics with Social Networks
Posted by Dr. Matthew Loop | Filed under youtube
When utilizing social networks like Myspace, YouTube, and Facebook for your next chiropractic marketing campaign, be very careful how you proceed. You only get one shot at building credibility within your niche or local community, so, ideally you want to make sure that you receive guidance from someone who’s successfully harnessed the power of these networks already. Going at it alone will cost you thousands of dollars in mistakes, missed new patient opportunities, and a great deal of time, energy and effort learning a new language. There are also unspoken rules you must know as well if you want to be in it for the long term.
Social media is an interesting phenomenon, in the fact that, it has spread like wildfire and permanently altered the landscape and dynamics of communication as we know it. A question that is asked frequently by chiropractors is, “Are social networks just for teenagers?” In short, the answer is a whopping no! Not sure where this misconception came from but many are still oblivious to the millions of middle and older aged folks plugged in daily. Did you know that employers are actually passing laws at work because employees are literally addicted to this style of communication? As a savvy business owner and entrepreneur, I knew the implications of this immediately so I took advantage and my life hasn’t been the same since.
The internet is quickly becoming the highway to a better life for all kinds of people, and chiropractors need to get their vehicles in gear, moving quickly on the path to success. The time is now to utilize Web 2.0 to utterly transform the income of your practice, along with countless other ways to create endless streams of income.
I’m going to show you exactly how to get dozens of new patients through your office doors each month, and guess what, you won’t have to pay a dime in advertising while you do it. Don’t listen to the self-proclaimed gurus who want to charge you ridiculous amounts of money to teach you the same old practices that are no longer working. If they aren’t teaching social media, they are teaching you nothing.
Barely anyone is using social networks to build their practice at the present time. The ones that are doing it successfully are the ones that I taught. They are utterly dominating the competition in the community and are able to reach people that would otherwise be untouchable with the do-not-call lists or with postcards, etc. On one of my profiles, I have in excess of 6,400 friends, 3,000 of which are members of my local community who I can communicate with via blogs and bulletins. I am the first and only consultant to leverage the power of social media and share these carefully guarded secrets with other struggling doctors and students.
I was able to personally establish myself as the best chiropractic expert in my community and almost automatically received countless new referrals monthly. The reputation that I have created for myself is gold in the industry, and when people go onto MySpace or YouTube looking for a doctor / chiropractor, they’re going to come up with me. People are hungry for this information, and my endless speaking engagements are proof. My goal was to improve the business and lives of practicing chiropractors and many others, and I have achieved that goal.
Take a moment to brainstorm how you want to be seen in your community, and what kind of a business you want to market. From these initial ideas, you’ll come up with ideas for the right feel for your video that you’ll upload online, and then watch as the business comes rolling in. Keep the video under 5 minutes, because people have short attention spans. My video training course will show you how to do this and so much more.
And all of this is easier than you ever imagined. You don’t even need a camera to start, but you might want one down the line. When I first began, I made my video with screen capture software, and the success I achieved from that was amazing. Those doctors paying through the teeth for pay-per-click would love to have the free advertising tricks that I teach. It’s time to dominate Google with this free advertizing technique, and ditch the dollar-per-click trap. You’re going to achieve results that you never imagined possible.

Profitable Chiropractic Marketing on Social Networks
Posted by Dr. Matthew Loop | Filed under youtube
Even established chiropractors have seen a slowdown in their business because of today’s economic crunch. Threatened with financial jeopardy, many are looking for new, updated marketing tactics that set their practice apart from the same old marketing techniques used by others in the industry.
The very face of marketing has changed dramatically even over the past three years. The greatest contributing factor to this is the methods of communication that are being used by people professionally and socially. Only those who are willing to take the leap and establish themselves in the world of Web 2.0 will survive in the long run. Social networks like Myspace, YouTube and Facebook have become the online meeting place for people looking for everything from love to products and services.
For the past few years, I have been teaching chiropractors and other professionals how to leverage the power of social media and see massive, real benefits in their businesses. I am the author and creator of a system that has literally transformed the chiropractic profession and the way practitioners are marketing themselves.
When I was first on these social networks, I knew there had to be a way to harness and leverage them to get massive amounts of new patients coming into my office. That’s when I began the countless hours and months testing and perfecting a system that continuously gave me incredible results.
Social networks are free to join, and anyone can become a member. You are able to set up a public profile and join a vast, global community of people from all walks of life. The key to working in these communities, however, is not as simple as signing up and sending spam advertisements to other members. In fact, doing just that will get you kicked off the site and/or irritate other members to the point that your reputation will be virtually worthless. Those who have failed at social networking are guilty of just this type of behavior. The key to getting the most out of your efforts on these sites is working with someone who has experience doing the same thing.
The key to marketing in social networks comes down to credibility. If people perceive you as trustworthy, normal, and friendly you will be welcomed as a ‘friend’. If however, you attack your contacts with a traditional marketing campaign, you will fail miserably. You must be able to give your contacts and friends something of value. Serious thought needs to be put in to the design of your profile page, and the kind of information you place on it. To compete in Web 2.0 your pages must be interesting, informative, and most importantly-fun
Let me leave you with a couple simple tips about chiropractic marketing on Myspace. Never send a friend request without a polite message! This is Myspace 101 stuff that is very important since you want the person to know how you ran across their profile. Always include videos on your profile, as it makes people stay on your page for a longer period of time and holds interest. Now, I’m not talking of all chiropractic videos either. People want to know the real you, not just what your profession is!
This is going to be a new language for most doctors since we live in more technologically advanced times. You have a choice though. You can either take a year out of your schedule to learn everything you need to know about social media marketing or you can find a mentor who’s been there and done that. The latter will reduce your learning curve by about a year while the first one will cost you an arm and leg in money and mistakes.

Is Your Chiropractic Marketing Killing Your Practice?
Posted by Matthew Loop, DC | Filed under youtube
We’ve all heard the saying, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” Yet, it amazes me just how much I see this done within the chiropractic marketing and the profession as a whole. Far too many times I see chiropractors buying expensive media slots in the newspaper or on TV that are yielding mediocre results. It’s almost like these media sharks are feasting on “hope,” as the DC’s that I come into contact regularly with think they’ve just purchased a winning lottery ticket or something. Little do they know the startling reality on the other side. They’re actually killing their practice.
The economy is seriously in recession, and the big mistake that chiropractors are making is to stop marketing because it costs too much. You can’t bring more success to your business by not marketing, but you also can’t bring more success by paying through the teeth for marketing. So what’s the solution? It seems like there’s no escape from the current financial challenges. The only answer is to evolve with the times and utilize the tremendous power of online social media.
You may think, “I don’t have the money, so I cannot advertise and implement chiropractic marketing right now.” This is a common, flawed perception many chiropractors have. But the truth is, the best form of marketing and advertising is free nowadays. It’s not TV, newspaper ads, magazines, telemarketing, or postcard drops either. Chiropractors have been scammed and led to believe that you have to pay for new patients and the best type of marketing costs money.
So what’s the answer? If you have all your money tied-up in expensive ads and old marketing techniques with no results, you can still see loads of new patients walk through your doors using the exposure of Web 2.0 and social media; and it’s absolutely free! Chiropractic marketing is being completely revolutionized by sites like YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook. These sites aren’t just for teenagers as some would like you to believe. At least 50% of the traffic on these sites is 30 years or older.
Targeted marketing that specifically hits the demographic you need is the wave of the marketing future. It’s simple and cost effective, and you’ll be amazed at the amount of new patients and business you’ll receive. I can’t express how important it is to start your online marketing on the right foot! If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can seriously damage your credibility in your community from the get-go. This is how many chiropractors have failed. To create success, you need to find someone who has experienced success.
Let me give you a specific strategy that you can begin to implement today, as far as marketing on these networks are concerned. Invite people within a 5 mile radius of your zip-code to become your friend and begin to communicate with them. Every person that you invite as a friend will eventually learn about you and what you do for a living. This is not just virtual “hog-wash.” Getting traffic and visitors to your website is the same, exact way. You can literally explode your website visits in a matter of hours with proper social media chiropractic marketing.
You can also begin to be of value to these people by providing them useful information online. When you make daily video blogs or weekly postings about relevant topics, people will begin to see that you can help them, and they’ll take note. For instance, I posted a simple video about headache relief and 3,000 people viewed it within one week! Viral marketing was the cause of all this exposure. When one person saw it and found it helpful, they passed it on to a friend, and so forth. Do you see the power?
Social media marketing is the answer to your marketing problems during these difficult times. When you have the right coach by your side, you can instantly tap the power of Web 2.0 without wasting time trying to figure it all out alone. Watch your practice soar to unbelievable heights as hundreds of new patients walk through your doors each month. And not only that, but this success can be yours absolutely for free!

First Steps in Promoting Your Business on Myspace
Posted by timtim | Filed under Uncategorized
MySpace is a very popular social networking site and at the moment has over one hundred million members! MySpace, like many other social networking websites allows you to create your own profile, which acts as your own personal web page.
When your profile has been uploaded, you can easily invite other members to join your network and visa versa. In addition to creating a usual profile with your personal information, you can also include photos, videos, and music clips. And MySpace is completely free to use.
MySpace has incredibly taken the world by storm. This is because, in what seemed like no time at all, MySpace has grown to become one of the most popular social media websites in all of cyberspace. Particularly well liked by music fans. many bands have developed a following and released music videos through Myspace.
Recent studies have indicated over 50% of the users at MySpace are over the age of 30, so it’s no longer just a place for teens to share pictures and chat about the latest music!!
Small businesses in particular are now using MySpace to enlarge their customer network and increase traffic to their websites. A Myspace profile should be a key part of your social media marketing strategy.
The first step in joining this popular online social network is to sign up for an account. This can be done in just minutes and is easy to do. Although you can view a number of different MySpace pages without registering, you can’t fully interact without your own account.
Your Profile Page
Once you join MySpace, you can create your own profile page. Don’t put up with the normal profile page they start you out with!
You’ll need to customise this page straight away so it looks different and reflects your business identity. Use the profile editor to change the colours, add background images and photos, and fill in your bio information. Then add plenty of good content, including photos and links to your other sites.
To help the beginner, MySpace has a fairly large collection of templates available to spruce up profiles. These templates not only alter the background of your profile page, but the fonts used too. In addition to using the pre-designed templates, you can also create your own, especially if you have basic knowledge of HTML. You can even purchase custom profile layouts or hire a pro designer to build you something really slick if you wanted. Try searching for “myspace templates” to get an idea of the different designs out there.
Remember your MySpace profile is an extension of you in this cyber community so you want it to be a great representation of who you are and why people would want to get to know you. Make sure you add your personality and don’t post about “get rich quick” schemes or special offers; don’t forget people visit MySpace to get to know other people so if you seem fake on your profile page you won’t do well with this sit.
You are able to (and should!) also place an autoresponder box right on your profile page and offer visitors a freebie for joining your newsletter!
After you have designed your own MySpace page, you can easily find other profiles. You can search for others with a wide variety of different keyword phrases. If you are looking for someone who lives near you, you can search for your town. If you are looking for someone who shares your love of animals, you can search for pet lovers. If you find the MySpace page of someone who you’d like to make friends with, you can invite them to be added to your network. As well as inviting others to join your network, you will usually be asked to join others… this is the main attraction of being a member of MySpace.

Backing up your MySpace page
Posted by timtim | Filed under Uncategorized
We answer questions from bloggers all the time… One of the most frequent is “How do I back up my Blogger?”. So being the web heads we are, we took note some documentation about a little plugin for Firefox named ScrapBook. We read, downloaded, installed, and used it hard. And you know what? This works for every social website we surfed!
ScrapBook is a good way to keep all that information you have on any number of sites safe with a local copy that your internet backup can automatically archive for you. With one program! No fancy command lines, dealing with widgits, it saves it for you so if any of the sites go bad, you’ve got your content.
How you say? We did it like this.
A First, go to the ScrapBook download page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/427). Click the Install Now button (green) and restart Firefox when instructed.
B Once Firefox has restarted, you’re ready to use ScrapBook.
C Surf somewhere you’d like to scrapbook. Once you’re there, on the menu, select Capture Page As.
D “Capture Page As” will let you pick the link depth you’d like to archive. This is a important! This is how all the links on your page get automatically backed up. If you had the depth set to 0 (zero), you wouldn’t be able to copy those extra pages. Set it to 1 and you’d be able to. But if it were set to 2, you would have saved all the secondary pages, etc.
E After you’ve selected the different options, click Capture. You’ve now saved a copy on your computer! Now, go to the ScrapBook menu and click Show in Sidebar. The captured pages are listed in plain view.
So this is what we’ve got so far? You now have a local copy of all the content on your LinkedIn, etc. page. So if anything goes south, your covered. But as they show on Cable TV… “But Wait, there’s More”.
If you have a backup to internet product like CloudBackup on your computer just make sure that it’s configuration has your personal files selected for backup. This way all your computers essential files are backed up and your social website content is too. And Firefox runs on windows, Mac, and Linux all the same. Not only will your computer have a full featured internet attached storage backup, but your social websites will be too.

Bad Chiropractic Marketing can be the Death of your Practice
Posted by Matthew Loop, DC | Filed under youtube
We’ve all heard the saying, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” Yet, it amazes me just how much I see this done within the chiropractic marketing and the profession as a whole. We are in seriously tough times in this country. The economy is in recession, and older forms of chiropractic marketing and advertising do very little good now. If you spend a fortune on marketing right now, you can be sure that your business is going to tank under all the pressure and expense. That means that chiropractors are marketing less to compensate, but continue to only suffer more. You need to market to get new patients through your door, but you can’t afford to do it the same old way. What’s the answer for today’s chiropractors?
You’re probably telling yourself that you don’t have the money to market your chiropractic practice anymore, and you’re wondering how else you can spread the word about your business. The answer is much more exciting than you’ve imagined, and it’s absolutely free to you. So what kind of marketing is this? Well, it’s definitely not TV, newspaper ads, magazines, telemarketing, or postcard drops. These are black holes that will cost you a fortune and yield mediocre results.
So how do you move forward when all your money is tied-up in outdated forms of marketing and your chiropractic practices sinks farther into the mud? It’s actually easier than you think, and it will cost you nothing at all. Exposing your business to Web 2.0 and social media sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Friendster is absolutely free and it’s a veritable goldmine of potential success. Over 50% of the users on these sites is 30 years and older, and that means that your targeted demographic is waiting to hear from you.

Let these people learn about you and start to communicate with them. Once you strike-up friendships, you are then able to share information about your chiropractic practice and draw people who are in need of your services.
You can also begin to be of value to these people by providing them useful information online. When you make daily video blogs or weekly postings about relevant topics, people will begin to see that you can help them, and they’ll take note.
