Is Spending Dollars On An SEO Campaign Worth The Bucks - Does SEO Work?
Posted by Matt Fuller | Filed under my google
Search engine optimization is the hottest marketing tool going at the moment. When a website climbs the Google rankings, it can be a very exhilarating experience watching your sales and customer activity increase at the same time.
For a website to increase its rankings within the free Google results, building quality back links from relevant websites and blogs is the core factor that will determine your websites rankings and shelf life within the Google free search results - especially if your business competes against other businesses. Certainly there are other factors that determine ranking, but link building should be the backbone behind any successful campaign.
Building back links is certainly the most time consuming element in search engine optimization, however it’s important to set up the web pages of your site in a manner that the keywords targeted in your link building strategy point to the relevant text and H tags with regards to your websites onsite optimization technique.
Search engine optimization is not always about clever techniques designed to manipulate the search engines, well thought out articles and content that are effectively marketed will not only bring your website back links, it will also determine how Google ranks your site and how often a website is crawled. When you provide the search engines with lots of unique content, the bots will come back to crawl your site on a regular basis.
To avoid republishing an article many times and losing the affect of its original/unique condition, many SEO experts will make multiple versions of the article so when ever the article is republished it is viewed fully or partially as unique and original, and back links acquired in this manner hold far more value than republishing the exact copy of the original article.
Many people still swear by employing several SEO techniques ranging from link exchanging, directory link submissions, blog commenting, and the one we like the most - link baiting. When Google sees a link pointing to a website, it does not automatically give that website credit for that back link. Google will assess the value and effort that has gone into obtaining the back link before it decides whether to reward your site. If Google looks at a link pointing to your site and sees that it has just been randomly posted without offering any content, or there is no review process for the link to be posted in the first place, then that link will have little or no importance in the eyes of the Google Gods.
When undertaking an SEO strategy, it’s important to stick by the principals of trying to build your search engine presence for humans and not for search engines. Google takes a dim view of those who try to manipulate its search engine by trying to artificially inflate a websites rankings. With all the hype of search engine optimization around, if you stick to the core principals of composing compelling content to obtain quality back links, Google will be your friend.

SEO Survival of the Fittest With Google’s Universal Search
Posted by Stephen Daniels | Filed under my google
The Theory of Evolution was Darwin’s attempt to explain the development of species. The idea of natural selection, that the strong survive and the weak die off, has been integrated into the modern understanding of biology, but the organic world is not the only place where this survival of the fittest takes place. Quite the contrary: natural selection dominates the online business realm as well. However, while circumventing biology can be nearly impossible, utilizing the online marketplace to stay on top does not have to be as difficult.
Understanding how to survive is the key. While companies around the world launch websites, only a select few make it to the big time. These company websites receive millions of hits and show up front and center on major search engines. In fact, being featured on the front page of a Google search results list is the best way to stay ahead of electronic natural selection. That task, however, is easier said than done.
Internet searches traditionally have displayed results through a ranking system. This system worked by examining the content of the page and rating its overall relevance to the search being performed. The search engine would then present the designated sites by their rank. There are certain drawbacks to such a straightforward approach, though, since this type of ranking only utilizes standard websites. In order to create a more comprehensive search experience, Google drastically revamped its searching capabilities in 2007 with the concept of Universal Search.
Universal Search opened up searches to include blended results listed by comparative ranking. Comparative ranking works similarly to traditional ranking, by analyzing the content and determining its relevancy to the search being performed. However, comparative ranking takes the process a step further, weighing websites alongside other online mediums, such as photos, videos, blogs, press releases and more. This goes hand in hand with blending, which provides search results for the full gamut of online mediums cohesively on a single page.
Universal Search, In this way, has changed the way online prowess must be achieved. Now, companies and website developers must utilize a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2.0 approach, focusing not only on content with keyword rich copy, but also optimizing all of their digital media, thus showing they are the best “fit” with a strong, multimedia approach. By incorporating rich media like images and video, websites can increase their comparative ranking, being strong enough to overpower a greater variety of sources.
Search Engine Optimizers must diversify into a number of areas they may not have considered before.
* Blogs mentioning your website can now be used as marketing tools to drive traffic.
* Press releases are listed in the blended news results; used properly, this can be one of your most effective tools. News is ranked chronologically as well as by relevance; by keeping your website prominently featured through regular press releases, you can optimize your search engine results.
* Images are more important than ever before, and tagging them correctly ensures your site gets the proper recognition.
* Including your company website in local online directories gives you one more way to improve corporate visibility.
It is important to understand that the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2.0 approach is the only way to achieve internet dominance, ensuring online business survival at all costs.

Use A Google AdWords Guide To Eliminate Pay Per Click Issues
Posted by Alex F. Brown | Filed under my google
Many men and women who have aspired to Internet marketing glory through the use of Google’s classic AdWords program have found their ships washed up on rocky shoals due to their inability to understand and properly utilize pay per click programs. That’s why it’s a good idea to try to use an AdWords guide to overcome those pay per click woes. Don’t end up thousands of dollars in debt to Google because you couldn’t manage a PPC account, in other words.
This is because the pay per click program that Google runs has proven very effective as long as the person running the account knows exactly what he or she is doing. However, paying for unwanted clicks that never turn into anything profitable has seen some people lose as much as $30, 000 in a month of wasted clicks by people out there who are not the targeted traffic that’s necessary to turn a profit.
Fortunately, many such issues involving Google’s program can be eliminated through the use of an intelligent and effective AdWords guide. It can come in very handy in cases where people are looking to make income off of Internet-related marketing and who want to ensure that their pay per click advertising is attracting the right sorts of people who could be converted into a sale when they show up on a site’s landing page.
This is why it’s a good idea to take some time to study just what sorts of guides are out there that can take a person who might be a novice when it comes to Google advertising campaign words and walk them down a path that leads to them having the ability to design their own effective AdWords campaign that attracts high-quality clicks that convert into real sales. The guide will emphasize quality over quantity, in other words.
This concept is extremely important to keep in mind, as there are a great many entrepreneurs out on the Internet who mistakenly assume that sheer high numbers of visitors to a site is what’s most important. The fact of the matter is, though, that one quality click that results in a sale is worth 100 general clicks that don’t turn into anything at all.
So, invest a few minutes into looking for a good guide that shows how to explore what keywords should go into making up a Google ad and how such a Google account needs to be opened in order to prevent the phenomenon of Google billing you for thousands of dollars a month for scattered clicks that never really amounted to anything. The guide should teach you how to make a quality PPC impact, for example.
None of the above is rocket science but learning the ins and outs of the techniques could take years without a nice guide. This is why it can make a lot of sense to find a quality beginner’s course that lays out in six or seven lessons how to go from neophyte to Google AdWords wizard in no time at all.

The Basics of AdWords
Posted by Zach Morgan | Filed under my google
Of all the pay per click services offered on the internet, Google AdWords is, by far, the most popular and effective. The popularity of Google AdWords comes from the search engine, Google, being so popular. If you have a business, you can use Google AdWords to your advantage. Very soon you will discover why it has earned the distinction of being the best pay per click advertising campaign in the world.
Basically the ads are either placed on the popular Google search engine www.google.com or either of its national or local servers (such as their regional sites www.google.co.in), under the banner sponsored links. Whenever a user or a prospective customer clicks on the link the company has to pay Google AdWords per click. The ad can be anything from a two line text ad, or an image ad, banner ads or even an in page video ad. The costs vary depending on the type of ads.
When you place an ad on Google AdWords, you are allowed to target certain keywords and key phrases. Normally, one has to invest some time into researching the precise keywords that are best suited for your business. Google AdWords has an option that also allows you to control the extent to which you want your keywords matched to the ones entered in search engines. For example, if your keyword is ‘garden soil’, you can make it match to phrases like ‘buy garden soil’ or ‘good quality garden soil’ too.
A big advantage of using Google AdWords is that it gives you great control over your budget, and you can make sure that your costs do not spiral out of control. Once you have decided on a budget and the maximum amount you are ready to for each click, you can take steps to make sure that you do not overspend or exceed it in any manner. Therefore, you are able to exploit the potential of your existing budget.
Another reason AdWords is so effective is that traffic that is generated by the campaign is pre-qualified. Your AdWords campaign targets specific keywords and only people who are interested in these keywords will click on your ad. They are interested in the products and services you have to offer either directly or indirectly. So, the traffic that comes your way is relevant traffic and there are higher chances that you may be able to convert them to customers faster.
These are but the basics of Google AdWords, and as time goes on, you are bound to learn more and more about making the best Google AdWords campaign for your business. It is definitely not easy and there is a learning curve involved. But once you have learned the tricks of the trade, you will be able to derive maximum benefit from this service.
There are many, many opportunities available to make money on your computer. The problem is trying to figure out which is right for you. You might want to learn affiliate marketing, or set up pay per click campaigns, just as a couple of options.

Use A Google AdWords Guide To Eliminate Pay Per Click Issues
Posted by Ruth J. Jackson | Filed under my google
If you’re an online marketer or Internet entrepreneur involved in marketing you have undoubtedly come up against the pay per click conundrum that plagues almost every marketer at one point or another in his or her career. Well, overcome pay per click problems with an AdWords guide. For a fact, Google’s AdWords program is both the single best and single worst thing to hit an online marketer, for a reason.
This is why something like an AdWords guide can come in very handy for someone who’s looking to make a nice income on Internet marketing or similar activities online. The good thing about pay per click traffic is that it can be attracted with the right sort of AdWords program that depends on quality clicks that end up in a conversion when those visitors that clicked arrive at a quality landing page.
That’s why it’s extremely important to take some time to learn just what sorts of Google AdWords guides are out there and which can take a person who might be a complete rookie at Google advertising and PPC concepts and get them to a point where they can design their own high-quality campaigns that also bring in high quality clicks. It is far better to have quality clicks over quantity clicks, in other words.
Keep in mind that quality over quantity is far more important in the Internet arena than elsewhere. Many entrepreneurs unfortunately believe that paying to have 100, 000 clicks on their site will generate large numbers of sales but this just isn’t the case. Those clicks are untargeted visitors and probably didn’t plan on being there anyway. 1000 high quality clicks that result in 500 sales would be far better, one would say.
However, finding the right sort of visitors through quality AdWords that attract the right kinds of visitors can make all the difference in the world. Additionally, look for a guide that instructs on how to set up the right keywords, how to actually create a Google AdWords account and also how to then create a high-quality ad campaign.
Honestly, nothing to do with Google is rocket science but it can take a great deal of time to learn the subtle techniques that can be obtained with the use of a quality AdWords guide. Given that, it certainly seems to make much more sense to find such a guide that lays out in several steps how to go from a novice to a Google AdWords pro in relatively little time.

Top Rankings Are Possible With Well Optimized Web Pages
Posted by Michael Fleischner | Filed under my google
Starting any search engine optimization campaign with anything other than keyword research is a waste of time. To be truly successful with SEO you must begin with a well thought through keyword strategy and analysis. Once you’ve identified the most important keywords for your campaign, the next step is to optimize web pages for top rankings. I’ve discovered a number of techniques that work especially well for on page optimization.
There are variety of optimization factors to consider when optimizing your web pages. I have found three in particular to have more of an impact than others when correlating them to search engine rankings. In particular, meta tags, URL structure, and page load speed all have a direct impact on search engine rankings for particular keywords or keyword phrases.
The concept of meta tags has been around for a very long time. At first, this was the primary vehicle by which search engines evaluated web sites. Over time their importance declined in relation to the number of factors being considered on an entire web page. However, as algorithms go more complex, the purpose of meta tags have changed. Once considered to be the most important aspect of optimization meta tags are now a way of validating site content. If your meta tags are consistent with on page content, the credibility of your page increases.
Meta tags should include a title tag which has your most important keywords and contains no more than 60 characters. This is the number of characters that can be displayed on Google search results. Your description tag which is also displayed in search results after a user does a search engine query, should be no more than 150 characters. This tag is most effective when mentioning your keywords two times.
The last meta tag worthy of description is the keyword tag. This tag is misused all too often and it may actually be hurting your search engine rankings. When using a keyword tag, focus on only a dozen of your most important and highly trafficked keywords. You want the search engines to know that you are an authority site and worthy of top rankings. Do your research and only include the keywords that truly matter. You can also evaluate the sites in the top positions and model their keywords as long as they are included on your web site or blog.
When users search the web, they are not only looking for valuable content related to their query, they are also looking for well performing web sites. The second factor we need to look at for on page optimization is load time. Be aware of how quickly your web site pages load and continually work to make the faster. When sites load quickly, major search engines take notice and improve rankings. Focus on user experience in addition to a properly formatted web page and success happens more quickly
The final on page optimization factor we are discussing today is the web site URL. The best format is to have your keyword in root of the domain. For example, it may look something like www.keyword.com. Truthfully the days of picking up a domain like this are pretty much over but you can find some options on expired domain listings. You can also add your keyword next to the root URL by creating a separate page or folder on your main directory. The final strategy is a subdomain strategy where you would place your keyword before your domain. Most hosts offer this option.
Don’t start any optimization program until you have taken a serious look at your on page optimization factors. With a well organized web site that includes properly formatted meta tags, loads quickly, and has a URL which is properly formatted, you’ll be way ahead of the competition.

The Top SEO Strategies Of All Time
Posted by Michael Fleischner | Filed under my google
As someone who makes a living improving search engine rankings, I can tell you that there is a lot of bad information out there about SEO. What if I were to tell you that the road map for achieving top rankings was within your grasp? The holy grail of rankings is not imaginary. As is true with any major success, it leaves clues.
Having had the opportunity to work with so many web sites, I’ve been able to witness first hand the value of different SEO techniques. Some appear to good to be true and often are. Others seem mundane but have an immediate impact on search engine rankings. I’m going to share the most effective techniques with you.
The first search engine ranking factor has to do with the anchor text of all inbound links to your website. Google and other search engines use the anchor text from other sites linking in to determine what your site is about and what it should rank well for. If websites link in only using a URL, and not your keywords in the anchor text, email them and ask them to update your link. The link should always appear with your most important keywords.
The second most important aspect of search engine factors is to include your keyword or keyword phrase in your title tag. This is important not only for search engines to identify your page but it becomes what is displayed in search engine results lists. In addition to the title tag, make sure to include your keyword and keyword phrases in both the description tag and keywords meta tag.
The third raking factor is what we call link popularity. Link popularity refers to a couple of things but most importantly the number of inbound links to your website. Each of these links carries with it some type of value. The value might be a Google PR of zero or ten so it’s important to look at the value of each inbound link to your website. The greater the link value or popularity, the more it helps you with search engine rankings.
The fourth ranking factor to consider is the variety of domains linking to your web site. If you have hundreds of inbound links from a single web site, they carry less weight than only a few inbound links from separate and distinct sites. The key here is that different sites are essentially placing their vote. Focus on diverse link building strategies among many different web sites.
The fifth ranking factor you want to consider is having your keywords in your domain. I know that it’s pretty difficult to do so, but at the very least, make sure that your keywords are in the subdomain or folder one step away from your domain. This place the keyword in proximity to your page and can support higher rankings.
Each of the five factors mentioned above are some of the most effective I have seen over more than a decade of online marketing. Focus on inbound links that are formatted properly, link popularity, and domains. By doing so you can dramatically improve the overall effectiveness of your search engine optimization efforts.

Payday Loan

Simply typing affiliate programs into any search engine will yield a multitude of results with links to websites offering various affiliate programs, promising anything from instant riches to long time financial security.
Part of the allure of affiliate programs is that unlike running a business of your own, with an affiliate business you don’t have to deal with things like inventory, storage, packing, shipping, complaints, returns, phone calls, emails, checks or credit cards. In fact, your only responsibility is to direct people to your affiliate site through your affiliate link. While not having to deal with the aforementioned things, and at the same time being able to earn commissions as high as 75% may sound alluring, and no doubt it should, the reality is more times then not like anything in life it takes time to build your affiliate business to the point where it begins to make you money. In the mean time you must deal with expenses that may stem from advertising, hosting your own website, monthly affiliate fees, etc.
Anyway to offset these expenses is welcome! Google AdSense Not only offers you this opportunity but many affiliate based businesses rely on Google AdSense for a large chunk of their monthly commissions! What Google AdSense allows you to do is to display Google ads on your website that are relevant to the content on your website without distracting from it. When people click on a Google AdSense ad that’s on your website you earn a commission. The program is free to join and also offers other ways to earn additional income as we’ll. You can even think of it as an additional affiliate program earning additional money for you that you would otherwise have never seen! The fact is, most people who visit your affiliate website will not buy from you. They will simply look around and then leave.
Of the ones that do end up buying they will most likely visit your website several times before making a buying decision. In fact it will take an average of 7-12 times for a person to visit your website before they do buy. That is because people want to weigh all of their options. They want to see what other business opportunities or affiliate programs are available to them by visiting other websites, and then they need time to consider which one to go with. If someone is going to visit your website and then leave without buying, wouldn’t you rather that they leave by clicking on a link that you will earn a guaranteed commission on?
They need to see what other business ventures or affiliate marketing programs are open to them by going to other websites, and then they need time to think about which one to go with. If somebody is going to go to your internet site and then leave without purchasing, would you not rather that they leave by clicking on a link that you’ll earn an assured commission on? Do you see why Google AdSense will always be a really important part of your associate business? Running an affiliate business is, like everything else in life, a game of numbers.

Google Voice Pushes Phone Use Forward.
Posted by Gregg Housh | Filed under my google
A famous pioneer in web technology, creating the most well liked search website in use today, Google stands at the front line of corporations pushing towards a future that is inextricably tied to the quickly developing world of the web.
With some of the most brilliant minds at work under their roof, the services resulting from their ingenuity have essentially modified how we communicate with each other. From Gmail to Google Wave, to competition that desperately plays “catch up,” proof of this company’s forward-thinking innovation abounds.
One of their more engaging services is Google Voice, a telecommunications wonder that extends users a singular telephone number from Google, to which any calls to your real telephone - or, if you so choose, multiple phones will be transferred.
How it works :
* User creates ( assuming it’s not taken ) a new telephone number or selects one from a pool of numbers provided by Google. * Once the Google Voice number has been selected, inbound calls to that number will be forwarded to the assigned phones.
As an example, take the following scenario as testament to the convenience afforded by Google Voice :
While in the kitchen fixing dinner, you are awaiting a call from your brother about your sister-in-law’s pregnancy, knowing that she’s due any minute. Your cell phone, which is your first means of communication, is upstairs. Yet, your home is also equipped with a land line, with one phone located simply a foot away from the kitchen counter. Without knowing if you are home or not, your brother excitedly dials your Google Voice number, leading to his call being forward to every telephone assigned to it - including your land line.
With configuration requiring only a few steps, use of this service is that easy, gathering our different modes of telecommunication under the umbrella of Google Voice.
Extra features include :
* Voicemail * Call History * Conference Calling * Call Blocking * Voice transcription ( translating your voice mail into texts ) * Call transitioning, which permits you to migrate from one telephone to next in the middle of a call.
Google now permits you to use your existing phone number with Google Voice, a feature that was only just announced. Your present number can be used together with a new Google Voice number. To read more about this new feature, visit here
For those who are curious about taking advantage of this service, you can request an invitation today.
